We just got our server going in school and we have all been playing JK against eachother lots of fun but we wanna play MotS now and instead of buring 20 copies of the game i was wondering if there was a no CD crack

You can only install 1 copy of the game on 1 machine.

How about if we tell him how to make his own crack using files found on the CD? All you do is copy a few extra files to the HD, and you NEED a CD to do it so...

I believe the answer to your question is no. If i recall correctly, the no-CD crack that works for Jedi Knight does not work for MotS.

Oh.. right. I forgot that. >.> It's been too long.

The way I got around it for my mini-LAN games was copying the CD.

And, like the solution I was proposing above, you need a CD to copy... so I feel this is a valid solution to post openly. :)

the jk_.cd trick does work for mots (although iirc it's called something different... and you have to copy of from the MotS CD not the JK one of course)
