Meanwhile, I have a single monitor. Just one. With an old-fashioned document clip on it for my dirty pictures.

My Dorm room.

You can't see it, but the blue tool box and monitor at the bottom left are sitting ontop of an AS/400.

That ugly green thing at the bottom center is a folding chair. Also, all of the keyboards are on a little wire tray that sticks out about a foot (and is duck taped to the shelves). Most of the machines here are *nix anyway, and I just SSH into them from my laptop, the monitors are really just there for show.

Actually, the real reason I collected all of these monitors is to set up a DMX array, but I have not really had the time to set everything up. Also, except for the two monitors on the far desk (next to the open computer and the fan), I did not pay ANYTHING for any of the monitors, they were all gifts, salvage, or compensation for fixing peoples stuff.

Yeah, CRT monitors are cheap as dirt, and all you have to do is look and you'll find people giving away perfectly good screens for free. As long as you have room it's great.

And now I must try and get a Matrox PCI graphics card to play nicely with my 6800GT
