'Twas a good day

Sure I had homework for the first time in close to 2 weeks (yay 2 day school weeks and long distance trips) but it was a good day.

I got to wear my new shoes for an extended period of time, and they were mighty comfortable (yay K-Swiss). I managed to piss off a teacher or two and it didn't really bother me, always fun.

Then there's basketball practice, where it got really ****in' fun. It was a VERY good practice. I finally got my basketball shoes and got to wear them in, they feel good. My vertical jump is just getting better and better, and I love that. My defense ****in dominates anyone with my vertical jump. I impressed the coach with running the offensive play very well. I had some amazing passes and short shots, both of which looked very good (my form owns. I may not be able to shoot very far, but my form kicks ***). I got the same basketball number as last year, 33. And, as has been stated, I asked a girl out right before basketball practice (it's a mixed gender team).

How was your day?
I had a blog. It sucked.

Boring.

Two hours of class, went and picked up office chairs to deliver to my mom's office, came home, had lunch, played a little UT2k4, played a little Chaos Theory, lamened my lack of an Xbox 360 and the Double Agent MP demo, talked to my girlfriend online while I played with Unreal Ed, had dinner, posted here.

That's about up to speed.

Two calc quizzes, and an in-class essay.

Yeah, my day was AWESOME.

Actually it wasn't too bad. At least one of the quizzes was ridiculously easy. " Solve y''+y'-2y=0 with y(0)=1 and y'(0)=1" LOLOLOLOLOL

Why must girls always leave nasty notes for each other? Just f'ing grow some nads and talk to the girl.

...sorry, but I'm tired of all the stupid catfights at work carried out by notes.

It was more of a metaphorical idiom rather than a literal suggestion. :downs:

Woke up. Ran. It was me vs. the elements, though, as I wore only a t-shirt and shorts as I ran through the harsh cold winds over the Charles river. I thought I was tough enough, but nature has a way of breaking you down ever so surely. Being conditioned to not feel pain while running has the bad side effect of not letting me know when I'm actually hurting myself.

Had a long breakfast over The Economist. Went to two classes: one was in preparation for an evening exam tomorrow (ugggghhhh), but the other let out early so we could do a "research experiment." My fellow analytical specialist and I proceeded to sit out on the lawn of the college of communications and record the number of hot girls (> or equal to 7/10 on 'the scale') who entered or exited the building each minute for 20 minutes. The average was 2.85 hotties/minute.

I then went to pick up hockey tickets, but ran into some classmates on the way. We set up to study tonight - and went off to get tickets together. I took lunch way far out on West campus... terrible food. Instead of making the twenty-minute-plus trek back, I hopped the bus I usually use to head west and hoped it would take me east. It did... after an hour. I was starting to feel sick, and when I got back, I passed out for a good four hours that I'd wanted to devote to studies.

I took some dinner, hung out with some friends, and went down to get the number of this girl I've had a crush on for ages. When I showed up, she looked absolutely gorgeous... daaaaamn. I then went to a friend's to study, which was an inquiry into insanity, as although every other word this girl said was about biatches and hos and ditzdom, the alternate words were about depreciation and amortization, bad debt expenses, and uncollectable accounts...

And now I'm back here! :D

Woke up fully clothed on my mates sofa, made a little brunch, went to the bottle bank and disposed of some beer bottles, then sat about playing CoD. Went home, tied me dwelling then had tea [dinner]. Posted here.

Woke up, found out the fever was gone and I was still coughing up blood. Took medication, went back to sleep. Woke up again, fever was back and the coughing got worse. Took medication, went back to sleep. Woke up again, still the same. Had dinner, medication, and started feeling better. I'm boring.

Ugh, god.

Do you know what it's like when two of your friends are fighting and they are both hawt emo chicks?

Jesus. I've never heard such a ****storm.

edit: No, it wasn't the sexy kind of fighting.

Got up late, bummed around and read a book for a bit, tried to cycle to climbing wall but one of the cogs on the rear derailleur on my bike literally fell off halfway there. Went home, moped around, went to pub, then onto cheap club, felt crappy, went home. Woo!
Life's been a little grey lately, but I have plans. That is, once I get a job and therefore have some money, I'll have plans.

Hmm. I got up at 6:00 to get to school and hour early because I have to go to work with my Dad because my car isn't quite finished. ( Yeah, crappy sentence, so what.)

Then after I went over to school from the Y, (because I decided I'd rather hang there than in a stupid parking lot) I went to art class. My teacher and I laughed over the crappyness of my "painting". Then, while talking to classmates, I mentioned something about my former co-workers and Geeks to the Rescue looking for porn on client computers, which they thought was gross, and didn't want to hear about, even though my co-workers never found any porn. I thought this tad odd, because they talk about grosser stuff quite often. Oh well. Apparently hypocrisy is alive and well among high-schoolers.

Then I had AP Lit with Ellen, and that was fun. We read awesome essays, and I gave Carolina an awesome comic about coffee.

After than I had Comparative Religion. For the second time in a row we did nothing in class, possibly because a bunch of people were taking the PSAT. I managed to tease a girl so much that she became frustrated and screamed, which made me exceedingly happy. Then we played a card game, the name of which escapes me at the moment.

Then we had lunch. Lunch was boring.

Fourth hour was Health and Wellness, which is basically ghetto gym class at the YMCA. We did some sort of obstacle course, and I got the best time. That made me happy. Also, I found out that this one girl who I thought has been getting mad at me actually wasn't.

Fifth hour with Dr. Lee was as usual, fun. Dr. Lee and I carried out our usual banter thought out the lecture, and all was well.

When I got home I discovered that more Crysis screens had been released, and they were impressive, even if they were stupidly small.

Then I got my hood adjusted and one headlight on. I'll be driving tomorrow for the first time in months. That too, makes me happy.
