I've had a pair of fairly poor quality headphones for a long time now, and they've finally given up the ghost. The plastic has cracked, and I have failed to superglue it back together. So I'm in the market for new headphones, this time of the non-crappy variety.
My budget isn't large, I'd like to keep it sub-$100. Looking around, I've seen that Grado SR60 and SR80 come pretty highly recommended and fit my budget. Also, Newegg has a pair of Seinnheiser HD 485's for $65.00, which seems like a good price. And the reviews seem to all be positive.

Of these, what are your recommendations? Are there any other sub-$100 (US) quality headphones that I'm looking over?
Also, I've never found IEMs to be comfortable, though then again I've never tried Shure e2c or e3cs. Though I won't be taking the headphones out of the house, so I really don't have a need for IEMs.
