Harrison Ford claims that he's "fit" to play Indiana Jones again.

I dunno.

He's 64? Jeeze, I thought he was mid-fifties, tops.
I had a blog. It sucked.

With enough make-up, I guess he could take 10 years off on the screen.

it said in the article, that the movie would take place later, for "artistic reasons and obvious physical reasons." i'm hoping for Indy kicking some serious commie butt. theres not enough Byzantine archaeological cool stuff in movies.

and hell yeah he'll pull it off. anyone who says otherwise gets a whip around thier throat.

If anyone else plays Indy, it won't be Indy anymore.

I lol`d.

-Indy Versus Commies = Infernal Machine, and that was pretty cool.

Just a fun fact; Sean Connery was 59 when he played Indy's father. Ford is now 64.

Anyway, that was more amusing when people thought the new movie would be taking place in the same time period as the others.

I'm all for a new Indy movie, and agree that it should take place in the past (Cold War FTW).

Am I the only one who's mother has a thing for Harrison Ford? She actually tried to get my dad to get the whole look going. Got him a "Jones" look-a-like hat and everything...my poor dad. 8 P

Nope. My mom constantly mentions how hot harrison ford is. As a 15 aniversary present, she got him to dress up like him for a westernish style photograph as our family portrait so she could send out cards with catch phrases relating to tomb-raiding.

Women of all ages get hot when harrison ford does his odd facial expression. I can only half mimick it. I believe that if I can possibly emulate it, I will have absolutely no problem sleeping with any woman I want and get away with it with the other ones.

Hanners agrees. Tote your Indy love.

No. Every mother in the United States is in love with Harrison Ford.

There's a song by Christine Lavin about how amazing Harrison Ford is. It's all true, too.

Yeesh, I thought he was in his Mid-50s at the most.

Oh well, at least we probably won't be seeing a 60 year old with his shirt off, which is more than I can say for Rocky 6.
nope.

Yeah, that. And he doesn't look 64.

But I really hope it's not going to involve Communists - or at least not the Russian communists. Everytime I see an American movie about "evil" Russians (be it mafia or Commies or whoever), the American take on it totally kills the movie for me. And it's not just the terrible accents.

For example, the second Bourne Supremacy couldn't have been taken for anything *but* an idiotic joke (amongs the lines of a movie about Finland where the population ratio would be 1 man to 3 Polar Bears) for anyone Russian.

So I really, really, really hope my favorite movie franchise doesn't make this mistake.

Yeah, cause he did such a good job when he took over the role of Jack Ryan.

The Indaian Jones franchise did tha with the Nazi's though. It looks at the world as if the far off, crazy stories and rumors people hear about are true. It basically has an adventure comic touch.

They need to have Indy meet Sadaam. That'd be funny.
