Wrist holster performed without jacket

Wrist holster performed with a jacket

The creator seems to call the wrist holster a "shank."So I guess it basically works by applying a certain force to the mechanism through the flickering of the wrists.

A.. shank.. as in home-made knife. Interesting..

I don't know what Equilibrium is (Wikipedia indicates a 2002 movie), but it looks very much like the one De Niro's character makes in the movie Taxi Driver.

Hahaha, that is sweet. Did you find a guide on how to make one? I might give it a shot if I can miniaturize it and make it more ergonomic.

It's a movie that you either love or hate.

I personally love it. Most people hate it.

I wish Equilibruim had had a bigger budget and more time to be made. Though I love it anyway. But if it's as amazing as it is now, just imagine what it could have been. The commentary kind of goes over some really awesome ideas they had to ditch due to lack of time .(

I thought Equilibrium was ok, the gun kata was definitely cool though. That's some impressive work on the gun contraption Cloud.

In Taxi Driver, Travis used the slide from a drawer. I was thinking of making one out of one of those useless sliding keyboard trays.

Creator's progress on making the "shank" from some time ago

I was actually the one who commented on that YouTube page of his. Oh and like someone pointed out, I'm not the creator.

Equilibrium stands out to me when I see this. But of course the idea has been around a while. The whole idea is really simple.
