I just got back from seeing it; it was quite good. Had me guessing right up until the end.

One gripe I had was that there is no possible way for Tesla's machine to work as it was portrayed.

Has anyone else seen it?

Yeah that's really all that needs to be said about this film. If David Bowie playing Nikola Tesla doesn't make you want to see it, then nothing will.

I loved it. I saw it opening day. It was amazing. Great story, great acting. It kept you guessing until the last moments of the film. Now I need to see The Illusionist.
Think while it's still legal.

"Every great magic trick consists of three acts. The first act is called "The Pledge"; The magician shows you something ordinary, but of course... it probably isn't. The second act is called "The Turn"; The magician makes his ordinary some thing do something extraordinary. Now if you're looking for the secret... you won't find it, that's why there's a third act called, "The Prestige"; this is the part with the twists and turns, where lives hang in the balance, and you see something shocking you've never seen before."

That's the Prestige. :P
