:mad: I havent signed onto my email (hotmail) account for 2 months, for the simple reason i have no internet, cos i cant afford to update my windows 98 computer upto windows xp so it can support wireless connection.

THEY DELETED MY ACCOUNT!!! :mad: :mad:

I probably had about 400 emails waiting for me, and a few important ones, including ones from games designing companies and music agents for feedback, not to mention friends asking how i am.

URGE TO KILL HAS RISEN, OH SO RISEN!! :mad: :mad:

Do you fellas reckon theres anyway for me to recover those emails?

I could walk to msn hotmail head office and pee on everyone, followed by their decapitation, but that will only feed my need for revenge, it wont bring my emails back.

Oh, and hi, long time no see fellas, whats been a happening.??

ok now If I had that much emails waiting for me and especially important ones, and was short on money, I would try to get a part time job and get enough money for a computer that is simple and capable of just access email

I am assuming you graduated college because of your relation with game designing and music companies.

And speaking of Hotmail, I haven't logged on to my account for 7 months and all my emails are still there. I quit Hotmail and transferred to Gmail because Gmail sounds way cooler than Hotmail.

What prevented you from using someone else's system to check your email? No public libraries around?

No you still need invites... unless you have a cell phone, then you can have Google SMS you an invite (this is what the "Sign Up" link on the GMail sign in page directs you to do. Otherwise an existing GMail user has to invite you.

Maybe you girlfriend is systematically deleting your online accounts. Now that you've accessed Massassi again, you should expect your account to be deactivated over the night.

but if you did have important stuff, why on earth weren't you regularly checking your email from a libarary/netcafe?

That happened to me last week. I wasn't on it for about a month so they deleted all my emails and disabled the account.

That happened to me back when gmail was just a rumour.
It put me in a really bad mood for quite a while, and I didn't make a new account till gmail came out.
No, theres no way to get the e-mails back, they are gone =[

They use sod too, but it's not considered a word worth censoring.

I also lost my emails for that same stupid crappy reason. I didn't log on for 4 weeks (was too busy for the stuff I used hotmail for), and it was all gone. MS once again demonstrated its excellence of service.

Well, fortunately I didn't have anything really important there. I never trusted hotmail enough for anything but rare mapping related stuff. While it sucks those emails are gone, it's not like it would actually slow me down any.

Too bad you lost important stuff, Ruthven.

Unlucky man, that does definitely suck. Just make sure it doesn't happen in the future by avoiding the dreaded hotmail. :/

Um. Yes it is.

Well, it sort of is. You have to have a cell phone to sign up, unless someone gives you an invite.
