Edit: Actually this polls serves no purpose. You would get a far better result by just collecting numbers from actual polls.

The lack of anonymity will probably hurt your results here, as some lurkers probably only vote on polls where their anonymity is preserved.

The admins probably have better tools than the OP to detect how many unique members have voted on all polls that have ever existed, which when compared with recently active members would give you the number of unique, recently active members who have voted on polls (whether they will in the future still varies).

But my answer is it depends. Sometimes the right option for me isn't available, or I read through the thread and forget to vote, or don't bother since it wouldn't sway the conversation by that point anyway (I usually end up reading them after they've ended...).

i vote in a lot of the polls, unless i dont really care about the subject, or there isnt an applicable option for me to choose.
