Thats not true Zan, lambos are beasts.
And while an EVO can keep up with a lambo on a track, the EVO is completely pathetic when it comes to styling. Also, turbo lag kills it.

However, that doesnt mean that a Lambo isnt a good car. Despite the fact that this Pagani Zonda destroyed the lambo on the track, I think youd be a little nit picky to call a car terrible because it lost to another ridiculous supercar.

Uhm...wait a second. An Evo will hang with a Lambo on a track, but turbo lag kills it? How is turbo lag killing it if it's holding up to a Lambo on a track?

And let's forget about the price differences too, eh? :v:

Edit: 0-60mph in 3.5 seconds and you say turbo lag is a problem?? Ahahaha...alright..

If you rev it before you drop the clutch you've already engaged the turbo for first gear. If it's that quick you won't need more than two, maybe three gears to hit 60, so the lag in 2nd and 3rd won't be so bad. If you struggle you can still rev while changing gears to keep the turbo in on a speed run I suppose.

Are you familiar with how turbos work? Gearing is irrelevant to turbo lag..

My pickup will do close to 60 in second gear, but that doesn't mean it's fast. ;)

Evos only have turbo lag at low revs, so as long as you keep it on boost lag is not an issue.

Also the only quasi-stock Evo that can do 3.5 0-60 is the FQ400, which while released by an arm of Mitsubishi is not exactly 'stock'. I'd like to see how fast a Murcielago can get with a little tuning...

That said, comparing a $500,000 hand-made German / Italian supercar to a $60,000 Japanese production line tin can is stupid, we should all be arguing Evo vs WRX STi instead!

If you can buy it from Mitsubishi without 'aftermarket' modification...*shrug*

I find it amusing that your so-called "tin can" will romp all over your hand-made Italian supercar. :D

Well you cant buy them from Mitsubishi anymore they only made like 100 :P

Evos are exceptional cars in the speed and handling they offer for the price, but it's all about image, really. If you're happy with the whole plastic-coated ugly as sin rice-mobile then enjoy your Evo.

Oh and incidently, the Lamborghini released Murciélago LP640 has a 0-60 time of 3.4 seconds.
