I like the neat spellchecker thing. Like, I just noticed spell checker is two words. I learn something new everyday!

I don't know. Why use 1.5x? It totally ruins my poll. Now an admin will have to change one of the options to 1.5x.

there's plenty of reasons to not use Firefox 2 yet, like that only half of my essential plugins work in it yet.

I think it's when you gather mass amounts of gold in a video game and sell it to other people with no life.

You mean extensions. Google for Nightly Tester Tools and install it... it can force compatibility for specific extensions or disable compatibility checking entirely.

Another solution is to download the XPI file of the extension, crack it open in a ZIP application, find install.rdf and open it in notepad, and up the maximum Firefox version value. Then save, rezip into an XPI, and drop into Firefox to install.

Some extensions will probably not work or cause weird UI errors, but that's the risk. Just enable one or two at a time and restart to quickly identify ones that might not work with Firefox 2.

I perfer Tab Mix Plus, which has much better control, saves previously viewed pages (back button), and multiple sessions. And of course, the insanely useful undo close tab button.

Why does IE tab constantly crash Firefox?

It happened with the last version and is happening again :psyduck:

Because technically you're still using IE?

I'll probably install it as soon as it is in FreeBSD's ports. There is a ports freeze right now, so it probably won't go in till after the release of 6.2.
