I went and preordered the hundred dollar Legendary Edition earlier this afternoon.

not a jetpack, thats the freaking rocket launcher. one of the new things is the secondary weapon is attached to the player in 3rd person. D;

Failing to see a jetpack, just some jumping Spartans and a rocket launcher. After Halo 2, I'm going to assume it's disappointing until it proves me wrong.

Halo 1 was good, Halo 2 was bleh.

At least they dropped the Pistol from Halo 2. God I hated that thing...

I can agree with that. My friend "magically" made Halo's weapons fire different projectiles. It was rather fun. Pistols fired assault rifle rounds, rifles fired warthog gattling gun rounds, and the warthog fired sniper rounds.

Oh hell... THAT IS fun.

I've made a Holy Needler of Justice that has a bottomless clip and fires about a 100 rounds in 2 seconds and doubled the homing. It's mutually assured destruction in multiplayer. If you get hit, you're dead, period, and opponents only need a second to get off enough rounds to kill you. It's a ***** to even try and outrun the things.

I've made an AR of Suffering. Sniper zoom, 30 rounds a second (normally 15), pinpoint accuracy. It's hilarious pegging them from across the map with a stream of fire and watching them go nuts trying to figure out where it's coming from.

And the pistol? Screw making it fire AR rounds. I've made it fire ROCKETS.

And among the list of other favorite tweaks.... Drive and fire the warthog turret from any seat, make the ghost fly, change the turrets to plasma grenade launchers, shotgun fires fuel rod rounds/rockets, change frag grenades to rockets (instead of throwing a grenade you throw a rocket).

Halo is just awesomely fun when it comes to doing nutty things with the weapons.

...How?
I now want to have a 300 RPM rocket launcher of death.
