Yip Man. RIP. Now this is the serious stuff.

Out of curiousity, is it possible to mix Wing chun with other martial arts, because I noticed this is basically all hand except for a few kicks here and there.

I don't understand the rationale behind posting links to youtube vids... are you trying to share "funnies" with the rest of us and thereby improve our perception of your taste? Why can't we just find these things for ourselves?

By the same rational, you could argue that there's no reason to tell any of your friends a good joke. The point of posting the link is to pair up your friends with something they might enjoy, thereby increasing the chances of their sharing something funny with you that you would not have seen otherwise.

Hahah, funny though.

I found this live action Street Fight satire. It's better than the actual movie. I would rather pay $8 to see this 3 minute clip than that 2 hour long crap.

That's kind of random. And is that a Jackie Chan look-alike?

I found a.. what was it? I think Tekken? These two guys acted it out, and they were pretty decent, and then they went back in and added in some special effects.

Let me search for the link.

You can find some other pretty good live action video game sequences on YouTube if you dig around a little. There are a few really good Final Fantasy ones (random encounter!), and the "day in the life of Mario" video cracks me up every time (if not initially, at least by the mugging scene).

I don't mind the threads linking to videos, I've only browsed the site actively once or twice but have visited it lots of times through referrals via email, forums, myspace, etc. so it turns up a lot of things I'd have missed otherwise.

Yeah, it's from the movie City Hunter.

Take note that in the actual City Hunter manga there are no Street Fighter skits to my knowledge... but plenty of gags involving the main character's erm... appreciation for women. =D

The fake punches and fake kickes may be amusing, but his countering is quite skilled.

No, none of Massassian's martial artist practice Wing Chun.

Jackie Chan does indeed practice Wing Chun.

Bruce Lee practiced Wing Chun for a few years from Yip Man, which warlock posted a video of, and used it to develop certain lock-breaks.

Wing Chun is an art basically almost entirely practiced on wooden dummies.

Don't be fooled by his "counters"...all of this is part of a trained Kata which all Wing Chun students practice, which is derived from San Shou style of attack/deflect.

Yip Man is a highly respected martial artist and practiced a true form of Wing Chun, and was the one that trained Bruce Lee. He's one of the first martial artist that practiced his art openly; something not heard of...Martial Arts back then was very secret and private for legal reasons.

EDIT: I just saw the Yip Man video, and he practes with the wooden dummies I was talking about in it.

EDIT 2: Music is from Inuyasha.
