Kid Friendy Massassi
2006-11-08, 8:16 PM #1
Is it just me or has Massassi forums been becoming more and more focused towards adults? What ever happened to the threads that are for everybdy? Why don't we think about the children for a change? And by children, I mean like teens who actually have their life ahead of them.

So stop telling me about what you did last night and help establish a more Kid Friendly Massassi. (.net that is)

Are you suggesting that we mask them off from reality?

Perhaps your IQ is rapidly dropping.

Shhhh.

The adults are talking now.

...how old do you think we are? I'm 22, and, while not a teen, I've got a substantial number of years ahead of me.

The average age here increases continuously. Of course the topics are going to be targetted more toward adults as time goes on.

Well, first he was in his mothers womb. Then his father kicked his mother in the stomach. Then imsoshort was born.

Since all the kids are growing up, it makes sense that Massassi is not as kid oriented as it used to be (if it ever really was).

Yeah, progress has happened.

I say we establish more kid-friendly rules though, so I can kick and ban more people from the chat. :)

It was definately more kid-friendly 4 years ago, the average age then seemed to be about 16/17.

Massassi is comming 'of age'
Laughing at my spelling herts my feelings. Well laughing is fine actully, but posting about it is not.

People are getting older. I do think massassi isn't as kid-friendly as it might have been in the past.

The question is, do we really care?

I personally don't see a point in attracting young kids to this forum, considering the bulk of the membership is in their late 'teens, 20s and even a few in their 30s.

I'm in 100% agreement with the original poster. I really, really liked it when this place was G-rated (or at least PG-rated). That was what, 4, 5 years ago? I simply couldn't find any moderators who agreed with my stance, and I don't have time to moderate the forums, so *shrug* nothing else I could do about it.

I know everyone is growing up, but let's face it: We are all better people when we can learn to treat everyone with decency and respect. It is much better for the site when someone can come in and feel welcomed, even if they make a few missteps.

I would really like to clear all the sex and drugs related talk off of Massassi altogether. Violence is hard to get away from (face it, most good video games are violent).
