You gotta help me. There's this website that has just an assload of blueprints, for everything and damned if I didn't lose the link a while back. Now, it's something "von" something, and it's got a really nice sorta orangey color scheme ('least it did last time I was there) and a simple, sorta pixely layout to it. And it also has, like, a bajillion blueprints, for boats and airplanes and cars and spaceships and buildings and everything else.

-Anyone have the slightest clue what I'm talking about? Google Defies.

j/k, I have no idea what you're talking about, but it does sound pretty cool.

I wish I could get part blueprints for older motorcycles on there.

Then I could manufacture my own replacement parts, instead of measuring all known dimensions on a broken or already worn part and not knowing any tolerances.

Those aren't even blueprints. They're mostly just black and white photos from the side. A few are wireframes.

I don't see how those drawings could be useful. Looking at the cars is nice and all, but what are they for?

it helps when you put them as the background image for a 3D modeling program.

like this, too:

Thats exactly what they are for

But I have a hard time actually finding blueprints that are accurate with each other.

Ohh, I've never used a 3d modelling program. Excuse my ignorance :)
