Is that chick yours, too?
She has a scar or bruise on her left shoulder. Why do you hit her?

I'll have to get a camera and take a few shots of mine.

Spook wins!

We've got about 5 black powder revolvers, a multitude of hunting rifles, and a little .22 mag, not for protection, but for fun. I want to get a super short shotty, but I've got no where to keep it other than my parents house, and my mother would NEVER let me keep something like that in her house :-D.

I'm starting to get into firearms. Seems like an expensive habit to keep up though, buying ammunition constantly and then the guns themselves. Rifles are sexy.

Jim7, how much did each of those cost? Personally, i'm jealous. :P

And yet, it is an order of magnitude more useful in combat.

The Walther is by far the coolest gun in my possession. I also have several .22 pistols and a rifle from when I was little.

I have 3 firearms. I don't have a pic of my Mossberg 590 Mariner 12ga shotgun.
The pic has my Swedish Mauser 6.5x55 and my newest gun a Rossi 44 mag.
So far the 44 hasn't actually shot any living creatures, even though it's been on two hunting trips. Planning to take the Mauser out this coming weekend. Have seen the same two deer in the same place twice; both at just far enough away not to get a clean shot with the open sights of the 44. The scope should give me a better chance.

mosin was free.. i inherited it from my dad (average price for a 91/30 is $70-100)

k31... rifle was $158.99 from dunhams sporting goods (after tax) bayonet was $75 from a member of surplus rifle forums

spanish mauser was $75 from a gun auction (i was the only bidder and probably could have got it cheaper)

enfield was $165 shipped from gunbroker.com bayonet was $41.[something] shipped (and came with a free CETME bayonet) from southern ohio gun

pistol was $140+tax from a gun auction

universal carbine was $250 from a gun auction... magazines cost me $25 for 2 15 round GI 1 15 round universal and 1 5 round no name

marlin model 60 was $124.47 from wal-mart (before my discount which brought my total to $118.[something])

thompson center renegade was also inherited from my dad (no idea on how much they cost)

A Navy buddy of mine has an AK-47. Has a Russian bayonet for it, can't remember which version the gun is, though. Didn't get to fire it when we went shooting last, didn't have any ammo for it.

right now if i chambered a round and fired it wouldn't be the best idea... when these rifles were put into storage they were coated with cosmoline to preserve them and keep rust from forming (which doesn't work so well when the cosmoline is applied over active rust) so i have some major cleaning to do before i head to the range

but they are functional rifles

i've held and fired a rifle made almost 200 years ago it was made in 1808 and through proper maintenance and preservation is still a functional weapon (not a part of my own collection but i wouldn't mind having it)
