Such as the two men responsible for this:

This is why I support capital punishment.

That has got to be one of the loneliest men alive right now.

Honestly, I couldn't and wouldn't ever want that man's shoes.

... :(

I walked past that last night. The streets were blocked off for one block every direction, cop cars everywhere. I saw the crushed stroller but really didn't want to admit that's what it was. Two guys walked by saying something like, "Crazy ****, man. We go in for a couple pitchers and in that time someone got wiped out."

I was involved in a hit and run a few months ago. Someone cut me off on my bike to make a right turn. I didn't have time to brake and hit their car just behind the rear tire on the passenger side. They stopped briefly and looked back, and I motioned for them to come out of the car, but they just drove off.

Isn't Denver great.

There is our first two candidates for Death Match Island.

Random deaths are always the worst.

I'd be expecting to see the father's suicide in a few months. That's got to be hard to rebound from. Imagine him on a date. "Is that a wedding ring?" "Yes. My wife and children were killed in a random tragic accident. Sorry, I come with emotional baggage."
Wikissassi sucks.

This is scary for me because my brother and his wife and 2 children live in denver, and from the ages of the children and the fact that no names of the victims were released, I have no idea if this was them or not. Hopefully I can find an article with names...

Even scarier... still haven't found any names, but I saw and article that confirms the children were a boy and a girl.

I really hope this wasn't my family...

Well, I've managed to find that it's not my family, thankfully. Now I can just go about bemoaning the current state of humanity like everybody else.

Ugh. Nothing really expresses the disgust I have for people who hit and run.

Well, calling them on the phone is slightly easier when you have access to a commercial phone line. I suppose I could get in contact with a DSN operator stateside, but I already confirmed it wasn't my brother's family by finding an article with names and pictures.

Believe me, it was a great relief. Still a terrible tragedy, though.

See, the punishment for that, should be getting hit by the same model truck going 50mph, when they least expect it.

But that could emotionally scar the driver, unless it was remote controlled.
