Well they've just released a trailer showcasing the maps from the beta coming very soon.

Just watching that makes me feel all nostalgic. :P

Anywho, keep you eyes peeled on the website for the beta being released. :D
nope.

Looks kind of good, though I don't really like what they did to the music.

The music is pretty eh, but the rest of it looks preakin' sweat. I'm gonna look into playing this when it comes out :)

...You do realise that it uses remade versions of the original Goldeneye weapons, right?
nope.

That's cool how they have both classic and refurbished versions of all the maps. Those classic maps look fantastically identical to the originals!

Wow. There are a lot of memories with those maps.

I'm getting HL2 when this comes out.

Anyone know if you can set weapon sets like you could in the original GE?

Also, seeing all those maps just reminds me about how me and my friends only played like 2 maps ever.

I saw this video a month or two ago. Cradle looks like it would be a very fun level (especially in MP without having to chase Alec.)

With a gameshark you could play Cradle as an MP map, it was fun (especially with sniper rifles).

The alpha version is great fun. Lack of a crosshair threw me at first, but once I got used to it my skill increased dramatically. I swear to God I went from struggling to easy first. I was afraid everyone else would think I was hacking.

Of course I also switched to a strategy of grabbing armor whenever I could. The best thing to do in ge_facility is to go back and forth between the two armor spawns. I got accused of "hogging the armor" a few times, although I never camped for either and there was always opportunity for others to grab either one, so I'm not sure where that came from.

That and Statue, though Statue was buggy.

Man, they didn't show the Stack. What they did with the stack (library) is just shocking and truly amazing.

-They got rid of the green color scheme, which seemed strange, but it had its own charm and look to it that was just... well, you'll see.

That's like saying no guns in CS.

Seriously, Goldeneye isn't Goldeneye without prox mines.

Archives was my absolute favorite level. Plus, you could use the gameshark and open up like the whole other half of the level :D

Woah, I wish more games didn't have crosshairs. Lasersights should replace though and only be available on certain guns or with an upgrade or something in the game.

Yeah, but it was only an alpha. It had something like 2 maps, 4 guns and 1 very annoying death sound.
nope.

Hey, did it do that hilarious thing where dying characters stagger to the ground while the James Bond theme plays?
