I was bargain shopping again, and came across this game for $1.99 @ Best Buy. It installs and runs wonderfully, but it has a lot of graphical errors. Garbled text that grows more garbled when the cursor is moved over it. The only patch that I see is one to repair 3DFX errors, but I'm running an ATi Radeon 9600XT. Any reason as to why I might be getting these errors?

What a freaky happening. I just reinstalled my copy today...

I had similar errors about a year ago when I was still using the onboard Intel 810 chipset. That was why I uninstalled it. However, the Radeon 7500LE I have in there now doesn't have any problems with it... Don't know what to tell you.

Definately a good game though.

That game was awesome. It's a pity none of the sequels ever came to PC, I loved the original.

It was fun... but it could have been better. I liked Shadows of the Empire's first level more than RS3D though [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]

Odd, my N64 copy runs beautifully! :P

Seriously, though, I had a lot of fun with that game. I have all the sequels but my fondest memories are from it.

Good game. Yet the title implies that there is a 2d version. Does anyone else remember the days when stuff had to have 3d after the title. Just so you knew that was a damned cutting edge piece of software in your hands. I always love those meaningless advertising situations. Just like when the year 2000 rolled around all kinds of stuff had "Y2K Safe" on it. And how many of your game installs just plain didn't work after 2000?

But back on topic. Good game. I can remember on my N64 version I had almost all of the gold medals. I was so proud of it too. Then my little brothers got on it one day and erased my save. I didn't want them to. But then my mom tells me "Well just tell them not to do that and they won't." So I explain what NOT to do, and told them if they did it I would knock them around, but they did it anyway. And I got yelled at for yelling at them. Now that's what you call ironic.

They shouldve made it multiplayer to. That would have been sweet!
