Even if just for wired LAN it's worth it. That router is solid as hell and never gave me problems (bought it for my uncle when it first came out and he was looking for a wireless solution), even though the signal was somewhat weaksauce.

11 Mb * 40% efficiency due to collisions / n, where n is the number of people who are using the wireless network. If you have encryption overhead, chop that in half again, just to be on the safe side.

In an average household of 4 people, that's a whopping 0.55 Mbps per user.

For wireless. It's still an insanely solid wired router for the money.
