The game of Life

So guys, how is your life game?

Personally I just upgraded my character from Popularity 1.0 to 2.0 and the effects it's been having is amazing. I get 25% more socializing time which is doing wonders for my friendship stat.

Sadly however, this has come at the cost of dressing 36.363% emo as it seems my game area has pretty much adopted this trend.

My school stats have mostly been the same. I still end up having to use the standard strategy of Pencil+Paper to defeat the boss. The levels are starting to get pretty repetitive. =/

I recently listened to some self help CDs that gave me +5 self confidence, and +10 effectiveness at dealing with people.

Oh, and when I bought the legendary sweet black shirt my coolness leveled up.

I'm really winning right now.

Sounds like Stinky has -10 wisdom, +100 charisma?

I recently polymorphed into a werewolf.

I tried the game of Life for a little while, but the Admins suck, so I'm thinking of switching to Vanguards when it comes out.

A potential member of my party stood me up. I went to an Irish pub to try to find her or forget about trying to find her, I don't remember which. Then, my party got lost in the void of college parties without any random encounters or loot/booty. :argh:

I was seriously starting to doubt my choice of multi-classing into both Engineer:Electrical and Scientist:Computer, the experience penalties were just killing me and the grind was really getting bad, but now things are really starting to open up. Some of the new skill trees are awesome, and leveling up seems to be much easer now. It’s been a while since I’ve bought any good equipment, and I am really starting to look forward to some new loot.

Also, did I mention that the High Voltage Electronics skill tree looks friggin awesome! I can’t wait till I unlock some of the new skills!

I tried to contact two friends, but do to my currently negative luck skill, both attempts failed. Thus, I wandered aimlessly for about 4 hours, until I bumped into one of said friends. I then went to the park and talked to her for hours, making me gain +5 obsession skill points. Then, the sun set and she had to leave, causing my obsession skill to multiply by x100. As I now sit at home my obsession/patheticness skills both rise at a constant rate of +1/min. /_\

I'm almost leveled up, but I'm not too sure what skills I'm going to invest once I reach the next level. Sometimes I wonder if I should bother leveling up, or just start over with a new character.

I'm in the final stages of the High School quest and things are getting pretty tough. I appear to have reached some sort of soft cap for my Charisma skill. As soon as I gain some points on it I lose them on some other NPC. I'm also having a tough time choosing a class for when I level up. I've been putting my points toward the Sciencist area, but I just learned that the Actor class has some great feats and bonuses.

I too am nearing the end of the High School however I'm stuck at the moment trying to deceide if I should join the Engineers, Chemists or Musician's guild in order to continue after my quest.

On the plus side I've gained +10 popularity in my last 6 goes and +12 dexterity thanks to the instrumental side quest. Now I need to gain 12% Enthusiam to finish the quest.
nope.

Hey, mine too. Luckily, I found Potion of Robutussin. It seems to be helping.

However, the douchebag stat of all my co-workers is also up 10,000 percent.

well I didn't want to post and ruin the continuity, but since that's happened, I can now say that indeed, you are all complete dorks. And I love you all for that.

i've pretty much maxxed out my stats
2006-11-19, 7:41 PM #28
My CD is scratched, and I'm stuck on the community College side quest.

-Also, I lost a member of my Party recently. He decided to go off and join the Navy guild. Oh well.
2006-11-19, 11:05 PM #29
I'm doing AWESOME! I just went to Morale Booster: Regina Spektor Concert, and it added a permanent +5 to all stats. I also went to Picture Show: Rocky Horror, which increased both Crossdressing and Lewdness by +3.
I also just looted a house and obtained Girlfriend Soup, which ought to cure any illnesses and debuffs I catch over the next few days.

Also! Last night, at 0200 I was at a Cheap Dining Establishment, replenishing energy reserves when out of NO WHERE, all of the parties at the Establishment broke out into song, which, combined with the copious amounts of alcohol consumed by the other parties, increased Charisma by +20. The song? None other than the Rhapsody of the Bohemians, by the great bard Queen.

However, on Tuesday I am being pressed into slave labor and forced to equip paint to a Shed. It'll take about 5 turns. However, I am gathering a party in order to help me achieve this quest, which should at least make it less of a grind.

When Regina Spektor's stats were rolled, all that came up were natural 20s.

That's pretty much the only way to describe her.

And she's so adorable.

On the other hand, I am overcome with the desire to take my +5 mace into the office tomorrow and inflict some +10 damage on the cow-workers... ;)
