Post your Wii Numbers!

A Wii Number is like the friend codes from the DS. Unlike the friend codes from the DS, however, Wii Numbers are tied to the system instead of each game. Also unlike the DS friend codes, both people need to add each other to their systems to allow any sort of interaction.

If you post your friend code here and add me to your address book, I promise to send you a message explaining exactly how much tofu sucks!

How to find your Wii Number: From the Wii Menu, go to your Wii Message Board. That is the icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Click on 'Create Message'. The icon for that is in the bottom left, immediately to the right of the calendar option. Open up your Address Book and you're done.

To get things rolling, my Wii Number is: 7857 0404 4665 6314

Post yours now.

Posting fake numbers isn't funny.

Why did nintendo use a number system anyway? It seems incredibly.. not easy to use. Registering usernames would be alot easier than 16 digit numbers :psyduck:

Greenboy, you've got to remember that this is the same company that used sightly modifed hardware from it's old console to power its new one.
All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.

Hardware = meh, graphics are good enough already on gamecube, its the controller that makes me interested in Wii. But thats still a rather silly matchmaking idea. But I guess if the console stores the numbers for you it doesnt matter much anyway.

Jon flip flops more than John Kerry

It's like the same thing in the fact that both people must have the code to use it.
