i once filled the old 200 megs of space 25% full with just spam collected over a year before i emptied the folder. just now i'm at 6% with this gig D:

Hotmail doesn't need more space: it needs to not be a bit rubbish like it currently is. (or at least was last time I used it)

indeedio Martyn. although only having 2M or whatever it used to have was annoying, it's everything else that stops me actually using it at all

I only use hotmail, because it alerts me on messenger when I have mail. I am an extremely lazy person, and this bodes well for me.

Yeah, if hotmail wants to improve, they have to realize the space has nothing to do with gmails current popularity, that was just the initial hook to get people interested.
Now that it's out there everyones loving it.
Hotmail's gotta ditch all the crap they've got, which includes the autodeletion of mail after however long it waits to do it.
You can't judge a book by it's file size
