i know i never visist the main page anymore, and go straight to the forums. this year or next it should be a forums logo contest.

Why not put the logos on the forum too? Not 2 contests, but just put the logos in both places so more people will see them.

Ah, how convenient that I still have my forum password memorized, after all these years!

I'm not at home right now, but when I get home I'll get started on it. Yep, it's just not that time of year without the "contest." And I think the dual-placement idea is quite good; shouldn't be a problem to do.

You are the master of everything. Maybe we should allow people to submit either the standard (hah) size for the main page, or the 375x100 for the forums, and we'll rotate them on the different places based on the filesize or something?

what's wrong with putting the front page logo on the forums? The forums logo doesn't have to be that size.

I got a reply from blujay. He may not have time to set it up this year, so I'll try to archive the 2005 in order to make room for the 2006. Hopefully this weekend. You can start sending your logos in to the address now, if you want, and I'll post them when the /holiday/ area is ready.
