I hear some fake-siren/car-alarm sound going on..and on..and on...sounds like it's maybe a quarter mile away, and I can't be bothered to get dressed and go find it...it's been going for maybe 15min so far, and I have no idea what it is. :argh:

Edit: Aggghh...no, it's not..if it wasn't so freakin cold out, I'd consider walking down there to see what it is..

Call the police and sound like a scared old woman. Tell them you're rich.

There was a car alarm today that was going off for what must have been a few hours. Eventually i got used to it and pretended it was just the ice cream man's truck that had blown a tire. I wanted to kill whoever set it off with something very very sharp and pointy.

I wish there was an obnoxious car alarm problem near my place. Instead, we have a guy who runs out in the street screaming really, really loud. The first time I heard it, I thought someone was being murdered, but he's just crazy or something apparently. It happens once every few days. I wish he would at least scream words or something, but they're just painful sounds. I kind of want to find out what's going on, but I've had to deal with so many idiots and crazies since I moved here that I know it won't be worth the bother.

Car alarms are almost completely worthless... 99% of the time they're set off by something OTHER than a thief, and they've become so much of a annoyance that people have learned to ignore them completely.

That reminds me of that scene in Casino Royale when Bond rams that guy's car into all the rich snobs' parked cars and *all* of their alarms go off. :D

today i got to school, went inside, found Frankie, and then proceeded to go outside because an alarm went off and some voice was saying 'please evacuate the building, there has been a report of a possible incedent' repeating

freaking cold out.

I'm so used to car alarms that they've become my late night lullaby.

We don't have car alarms in my neighborhood, because they all get stolen within a few hours of being brought into the neighborhood.

I live across from a hospital parking garage, so all I hear is car alarms.
