I recently found my old playstation buried away under a pile of junk, so I decided to get back into it. I recently went to a games store down the street and found the Final Fantasy Anthology, which includes Final Fantasy 5 and 6, for 20 dollars. Let me tell you these games are still deliciously enjoyable after all these years. :P

I just wanted to find out from my fellow massassians what other games are enjoyable for the good 'ol Playstation? Oh and was the game Jedi Power Battles any good? I've been wanting to try it out :ninja:

The games I have right now are:
Syphon Filter
Syphon Filter 2
Duke Nukem: Total Meltdown
Final Fantasy Anthology
Fifa World Cup 2002

I loved Jedi Power Battles. It's a shame I never owned a Playstation.

What's that Star Wars themed fighting game, where you could play as a Tusken Raider and lots of other things? Because that was neat.

I feel old when someone calls the Playstation classic.
Sorry for the lousy German

Masters of Teras Kasi

Jedi Power Battles is fun if you have a fried to play co-op with and laugh at all the game-destroying bugs.

I like that game, but it's far too hard. I could never beat the second level boss. ON EASY.

The Tony Hawk games are good. The Spyro 1-3 and Crash 1-3 + Team Racing rock. Wipeout is a good racing series... Jet Moto is as well.

Oh yes, Wipeout 2097 and Wip3out are a must.
nope.

FF Anthology sucked. SNES games were not designed to be on-the-fly access from a CD-ROM. The movies were so-so.

That's the one! Thanks, Spork. :)

I used to love playing survival mode on that, as Darth Vader cuts down enemy after enemy with unbalanced saber reach. Rolling around shooting people with Han and the Mandalorians was fun too. Makes me wish my PS1 weren't buried in an attic somewheres.

I fell in love with Final Fantasy 8. I actually just played through it recently.

Metal Gear Solid is also great. Heh, I bought/played through that two summers ago. Fun game.

FF8, FFT, Metal Gear Solid, Chrono Cross, Tales of Destiny, Decscent Maximum, Twisted Metal 2, Mega Man Legends 1 and 2, Tekkan 3, Wild ARMs 1 and 2 (MUST GET), Dragon Warrior VII.

Just a few of the great games PSX has. Loved these things to death.

It's redundant by now, but I have to also cast a vote for FF7. That game consumed my life for like a year after its release, people from school would lend me their memory cards so I could breed them the special chocobos. I'm still a little traumatized by the horrible characters names some of them chose, especially for Barrett.

God the PSX was cool. All these old games make me want to break back into them. I rented SO many great games though, so I'd have to do some romming to get anything I don't already own.
