basicly, this thread is to say that you got your nintendo wii for all those in australia and europe where it has just come out (or is comming out in the next few days).

im gonna pick mine up in a few hours. I got the console, twilight princess, wii play and an extra nunchuck.

I won't be getting one on launch day. XD The store where I pre-ordered it will be getting a whopping TWO units. And I'm no. 10 on the pre-order list. :psyduck:

Why couldn't this thread be revived? I have nothing against the Wii, just after the 360, I'd love to get one. But we really have had a lot of threads on this system, and just a week ago SAJN created this thread for just this audience. Then again, I suppose after this thread, they'll die down since it will have completed its launch cycle, eh?

I dont think the wii spam was bad, most of the different threads contained different information, which is easier to look at then one giant thread.

Frankly I was deeply disturbed by the lack of any Wii thread on the front page. We need one!

Picked one up during my lunch break today but it's a present for a couple of friends. Unfortunately one of said friends decided to tag along for the ride to the shopping center today, made for some interesting and amusing diversionary tactics.

Now I get to stare at the box until Saturday evening... Actually I opened it up and had a look at one of the nunchucks but dont tell anyone.

I've spent the past week looking around for one here in the States. Nobody has one.

The irony is, yesterday when I went to Toys R Us to ask for one, they didn't have any Wiis, but they had a couple of PS3s that had come in that morning and nobody had bought. I later found out that a few dozen Wiis were shipped Wednesday morning to Walmart and EB Games, but were sold out within 15 minutes.

Wii Sports comes with the Wii across the globe minus Japan.

Wii Play comes with Wiimotes!

Desktop threads tend to be an ever-changing line-up of desktops. Asking what europeans and aussies are going to buy a Wii in two different threads is a little different than inviting people to post their newest desktop theme.
