The GeForce 8800 is pretty good I hear.

Seriously though we need more information. PCI-E or AGP? What's your price range? etc.

HAHAHA.

That is all.

(uhh, he gave a price range)

ANd yeah, get a GF 8800, especially if you've got PCI-E.

(I've got a 6600 myself (wanted to keep costs down) and I've quite loved it, in spite of not having enough RAM)

I have a 6600 too I like it alot.. but it would cost you only about $150.. you could probably go with like the 7800

But isn't the 8800 like $450+

Can we have a rule on this forum that the title of a new thread must give some indication as to the content of the thread? "my..." and "anyone..." don't help us understand what the thread is about.

1.) You posted in the wrong forum.
2.) The people who have the answer for you won't know to click on this thread.

An 8800 would be a lot better.

Well... you could get two and run crossfire. It would fit your budget, too. Fantastic price.

I have a Radeon x1600pro, AGP. Its AGP, but it runs everything I have on full settings... (yeah, I don't have any new games though so I have no clue...) Halo is great on it... I think the AGP part is probably a bit of a bottleneck, but you'll have PCI-E, and you'll also have a faster chip and faster memory. It looks like a fantastic plan to me...

No you couldn't, unless you had an ATI Crossfire chipset motherboard.
