I have a problem with spyware changing my home page every time I get on the internet. Usually I solve this problem by running ad-aware, but this time it doesnt seem to work and the dumb thing wont go away. Can someone please help me with this mess. :/

1) Make sure Ad-Aware 6 is up-to-date.
2) Install and run Spybot - Search and Destroy 1.3
3) Run Hijack This
4) Run CWShredder (I've heard that developement on this tool has stopped.)

EDIT:

5) Download Firefox

I cleaned out a computer here @ work that was loaded forbear with spyware. Upon removal, I told the lady this: Just. Click. No.

That will solve 85% of your spyware problems. Using an alternative browser will help for now. It is only a matter of time before spammers adapt to Firefox et al.
