I would post this on the Technology forum, but it's kinda urgent. I just got a job making instructional videos for a film analysis class, which means I'll have to rip segments of DVDs I own for the videos. I googled DVD rippers, but all I could find were programs that ripped the entire DVD... all I need are 20-40 second clips. So basically, I need a DVD ripper that can set in/out points. I don't even know which programs are good, and which suck. Any advice would be really helpful... thanks.

Just rip the whole thing, and use a video editing program to get the segments you want.

That would take hours and tons of space. Time is what I don't have (and actually, neither space).
