I believe this is the first thread of it's kind on Massassi.

Where should I go to get hair dye that will last for about a month and then still kinda be there after it fades off?

I'm looking to dye my hair red with green bangs for christmas. I will take pictures and then post them if you guys help me.

It depends on how many weeks you go without washing your hair, but I suggest latex paint.

Uhm..I dunno about red and green, but when I dyed my hair black for halloween using permanent dye, it lasted a bit longer than a month, I think. So..if you can find any sort of permanent red or green dye that'd probably be what you're looking for. I have no idea where to get that though, because I'm a dude.

A beauty supply store is your best bet for that kind of dye and colors unless you're planning on ordering online.

I buy haircolor at Walmart, but I don't think they'll have "novelty" colors. :)

Any kind of hair dye will last a good 3 to 4 weeks typically (especially if you use a shampoo designed for colored hair)
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

I've noticed my hair is returning to its natural blonde after being 'naturally' brown for years.

Time to fix it.

You could use permanent dye, then redye with your original color, or something very close that you wouldn't be able to see the contrast as it grows out.
