...and beyond!

Possibly the first person to gain altitude and maintain a stable flight without an aircraft.

I wonder how many the Pentagon are ordering.

What do they know? They made a game that everyone cheats with modded xboxes in now, and where everyone jumps around like lunatics. Combat evolved indeed.

On the other hand, that's not a jetpack. Jetpacks do not have wings. That's a tiny airplane strapped to his back.

He means halo as in high altitude low open parachuting, not Halo as in video games.

But, really, that thing is an 'aircraft'. So he's not up there 'without an aircraft'.

That's great that you think Halo sucks, but this thread isn't about Halo, nor did anyone bring up the game.

Cool, you'd like to get nit-picky about definitions of "aircraft." Awesome. He has wings on his back. I'd say that's about as aircraft-less as we'll get for quite a while.

thats the coolest thing i have ever seen... would make a nice replacement for cars if they can give them 2+hour durations. Plus some sort of repackable parachute or landing mech.
