I get a day off because Ford is dead.

I am saddened and excited. We have lost a mediocre president who was never actually elected, and for that I mourn. Tuesday is a national day of mourning, and for that I get to stay home and do nothing. I am so excited.

Ford was not my favorite president, but he wasn't the worst either. Do any of you even know who Ford is? He came between Nixon and Carter, that's just a little hint.
Wikissassi sucks.

I have no idea what he did. Was he the one that tripped? :P

Also, "Gerald Ford dead today at the senseless age of 93".

I heard that he was quite a good president, mainly because it was never his intention to be president.

I get the day off too but does it really need a thread?

A president dieing has to be more importnat than some of the threads we've had. Because I can remember some really dumb thread topics.

Don't worry, a certain person got his thread-creating priviledge revoked.

Anyway, would a "day-of-mourning" cancel a day of school? I don't remember.

I love how they conveniently made the holiday for the day after New Years. Lazy bums. ;)

Was that *******-ish comment even necessary?

That comment was *******-ish? I was only trying to imply that most of you are too young to even know who these people are, not that you are somehow a bunch of morons.

Furthermore, negative connotations of 'came' are a product of your dirty mind and completely beyond my control.
Wikissassi sucks.

A man who was accidentally president accidentally died, so you get a holiday.

Gerald Ford invented the automobile.

The only thing I can remember about Ford was when he was in an episode of the Simpsons.
My blawgh.
