How do you create locks on windows 2000. I mean by this like on desktop icons and documents.

Group policies. Right-click My Computer -> Manage -> Security/Policies/whatever, its near the bottom -> go to town.

Same thing but a less confusing way to do it... Start -> Setttings -> Control Panel -> Admin Tools -> Security
