How do you like your shrimp?

I like BBQ.

Deep fried, FTW.
And when the moment is right, I'm gonna fly a kite.

I like all kinds, but especially the kind at Chinese restaurants that are so heavily fried than you can eat the entire shrimp, including the head and the tail.

Cocktail was my choice, it is the one I am most accustomed to and enjoy. I do love it with Alfredo pasta though.

I never thought this would be an appropriate response to two threads in the same day, but:

I voted battered, but I prolly should have voted cocktail. I like 'em both.

Never had 'em with BBQ sauce. I'll have to try it!

i get sick when I eat them raw, so deep fried is about as far from raw as you can get.

That- that's about it.

:ninja:

btw, fried

Barbecued is definitely the best, with or without sauce. Without sauce, you can chop them up small, serve them with raw diced onion and cilantro, and make a hell of a taco.

Additionally, they're good when cooked into Italian dishes, especially risotto.

Yeah, not much seafood in Southern Illinois. And what there is, my parents are generally "Oh well it's Red Lobster, I don't like Red Lobster, let's hit up Wendy's."

The only way I've had shrimp so far was my dad brought some home from work one day, grabbed a beer and said "Sam, we're going to cook shrimp tonight and i'd like you to try some."

So he threw them on the grill, squeezed limes (or lemons, I don't remember) over them while they were cooking on the grill, wrapped in bacon with a toothpick to hold the bacon in place. Then they were taken off, had more lime juice on them, ate the bacon then bit into the shrimp. Not bad.
I had a blog. It sucked.

Fried, Grilled, Cajun, mmmm... The best is coconut fried shrimp.

Not exactly too fond of cocktail though, just bland.

Also, from the bible, explains why shrimp and other shellfish are not Kosher.

Small pieces of fried shrimp, which can be eaten in the same manner as one would eat popcorn.

Not a huge fan of shrimp, myself.
