Am I a burgerboy?
2007-01-08, 5:25 PM #1
Alright, listen to this. I may be American, but don't make your decision based on that.

Tonight, when I got out of rehersal late, I had 20 minutes before a guitar lesson. I needed some food however, so I drove to a MC'D's nearby.

I ordered a double cheeseburger, 6 pc. mcnugget, large fry, and large coke.

I put the nuggets in between my legs on the seat, the fries and coke in the cup holders, and put the burger in my right hand, eating while I was driving. I finished all of that in 11 minutes and made it to my lesson with 3 minutes to spare.

So have I fallen into your stereotypical burgerboy status, or am I just a hungry teenager?

I had a Wendy's burger the other night. It was like 1 in the morning and my friends and I decided that we needed to get hamburgers. So off to the nearest Wendy's we drove. It was like half an hour away.

Nearest Wendy's for me is 4-5 minutes, same w/ nearest sonic. Nearest McDonalds is 6, Nearest whataburger, taco bell, chick-fil-a, long john silvers, are 6-7.

The worst thing is that within 5-10 minutes max of each of these locations is another of each.

Well, supply 'n' demand I suppose, it's no big deal, but sometimes it blows my mind to see two Mickey-D's so close together :D

I don't like McDonalds.

Alcohol has its benefits. Smoking is cancer on a stick.

It's good, though.

That's a solid meal, but I'd recommend going with a second double cheeseburger. Double you pleasure, double your fun and all that.

I thought TE made this thread, at first.

I was like "Good god, they let him post?"

Then I realized he was actually contributing an excellent post to a horrible thread.

That sounds good. You're just a hungry teenager and I'm jealous of you.

I prefer a subway club with everything on it but cucumbers.

No, that doesn't make you fat. Fast food meals aren't big enough, sometimes, especially if you don't eat a full 3 meals a day. Unhealthy, sure, but tasty and forgivable. That's pretty much the meal I get whenever I go to McDonald's, except with two cheeseburgers instead of a double.

As far as driving while eating a full meal: Do it in a truck with a manual transmission. Until then, you're just pussyfooting around.

I'm too poor for fast food.

Yes subway is damned tasty. Even their veggie sub with something like ranch dressing is great.

Weren't you the one who said he hated Subway with a passion and that Quiznos kicked everything's ***?
I had a blog. It sucked.

McDonalds is vile. (never had white castle, they don't have them around here). Carls. jr. is decent, as is Wendys.

For a really good fast food burger, go to In-n-Out if you are on the west coast.

No, that was me.

Quiznos is probably better than breathing. Yup, I'm pretty sure.

We used to have a Quiznos near here, but it went out of business... Angus steak was my life. :(

quiznos is nasty. I tried one of their subs and I had to throw it away because I literally couldn't stomach it. Subway and blimpie ftw!

Being vegetarian, and a hippy, fast food sucks. The only thing I can stand to eat is a veggie sub at Subway, with every vegetable they have on it, and pepperjack cheese. >.>

"In'n'Out" holds the title of best fast food joint in California.

I don't like Quiznos, they charge too much for the miserable little solidified bile they give you.

I don't like Subway, either. Or Blimpie. I'm not a sandwich kind of guy (unless you count burgers as sandwiches).

Two burgers will fill you up more than a double (because of the added bread, I believe), so I always go for that.

Also, In-N-Out holds the title for best fast burgers in the world let alone California. And I'm not even Californian.

In-N-Out is so overrated. I only like their shakes.

I'm pretty much a Taco Bell addict. Thankfully, the nearest one is a good thirty minutes away, so the temptation to gorge myself on mass quantities of "Mexican" food of questionable quality is pretty easy to overcome.
