Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

That's a noob mask, and nobody wears visors. Just another place to get hit.

Apparently he realized that, and dodged the paintball so it would hit his face, rather than his visor.

Cheap != n00b, and I don't like getting hit in the forehead is why I wear a visor.
I had a blog. It sucked.

Actually, is it a noob mask, but it's the very first mask I ever owned (circa 1996 or so), and I love it ever so much. It's an old Scott.

Also, the only way one could get shot in the visor and not the forhead should a visor not be present, is if one is looking straight up or has one's head and neck contorted to a weird, unnatural angle.

I doubt you've played paintball very much. You're probably just repeating what you heard someone say. Nearly every person I've ever played paintball with has had the visor still attached. If everyone pulled off their visor, I doubt manufacturers would bother to include them anymore.

I played competitively for a couple of years, but quit in 2005 when I started university.

I didn't mean to derail this into a paintball discussion, I just like making fun of you when the opportunity presents itself.

[edit]Tuque's and other headgear are softer than visors. I've had many more bounces off my forehead than breaks. The profiler's forehead guard (don't know what else to call it, the spiky thing you can put on instead of a visor) is a nice compromise between the two. Anyway, if you want to continue talking paintball we should start another thread.

Bounce Guard + Headband didn't save me from this one. I decided to lean further into it!
