So, anyone out there feeling the effects of this latest winter storm. I feel cheated. It started on Friday afternoon before a three day weekend, and we're all iced in. We got about 2 inches of frozen rain, which looks like snow, but is actually just ice. It's really weired, you walk on it but don't sink in at all.

My cousin in Kansas said he got out at noon on Friday because of it. He was happy.

Yeah, it's been snowing in Kansas for a couple days now.

we've just got a crapload of rain. they say it'll freeze overnight though. FUN!

not true. you mean "Here in Columbus." we had a few inches of snow this week up near Cleveland/Chardon area. it all melted by friday, but whatever. the whole snow for a few days, then no snow for weeks is getting old though. been off and on since mid november this stupid cycle. i wish the weather would stick to one or the other. just as you're getting used to no snow, it snows, and vice versa.

It's been drizzling here in Boston, MA. I want snow. :( We had a little one morning in November but it melted by the time I had to go to class.

We've had a little snow here in Utah, but its the freezing temperatures that bother me most. Its 7 degrees outside right now, and the sun is just barely setting. We'll most likely get below zero tonight. And that just sucks, because I go to work before the sun rises.

We haven't gotten any snow at all this winter. It's just rain.

I DID have a dream last night that it snowed a foot though. But one of my thoughts in the dream was "Too bad this is a dream and it didn't snow in real life". Yaay sorta lucid dreaming

Here in Louisiana I have my fan running. Yesterday I was shirtless. Some winter storm... If the weather doesn't start acting like it's supposed to I may kick El Nino's incorporeal rear.

We got ice here, too. Our entire street was one iced-over plane. We all had about a dozen beers and then went "ice-skating".

Snow? It's like 60 degrees Fahrenheit here. No snow, no ice, just rain. It is supposed to cool down to about 35 on Tuesday, though.

It's been warm up here in the 'great white north'. No snow that's stayed any good amount of time.

Supposed to snow tommorow though.

Ugh, I went to my girlfriend's at like 9:20 and had to leave at 10:00 because of the storm. That sucked.

Yeah.. I went sledding at my girlfriends house the other day, and had to leave after an hour because I didn't want to drive on iced up roads in the dark. I missed out on hot cocoa in a warm room :(

Actually, over here we got practically nothing. There was some freezing rain and stuff earlier, but right now it's right at freezing and just a bit foggy. Tonight it's supposed to get fairly cold and snow, though.

Over here in Stillwater, the entire campus has been shut down for the 3-day weekend. It's annoying, I can't get cheap or convenient food. Some fo my friends are trapped in their rooms because they can't get their cars out. I love my jeep...it's not even fancy, but it gets the job done the way it is.

Shame, its been Winter for several months in Southern England and we've had no snow at all (not even frost). However at least I did not get showered by rain walking to town this morning (makes a change) :)
