Look interesting, but I hope the ghost trap will come into play if they decide to finish the game.

Looks promising, now they just need to use the original logo and Ecto-1. XD Oh and the Ghost Trap indeed. Let's hope they make it a worthwhile movie license game, Ghostbusters deserves one!

Whoever owns the IP should DEFINITELY be allowing this (and demanding a cut of the profits). It's not like they're gonna get any better deals. Man, that was awesome looking.

-Seriously... wow. I doubt they'll be able to keep the actor's likenesses (unless they can get the actors to sign on for it, something they're apparently very loathe to do), but even if they don't, they could have it be something like, you're a new recruit for the rapidly expanding Ghostbusters franchise, and you work with mostly new characters. Even if that's the case, it'll be ****ing awesome!!!

Hmmm. I don't see how this could be a good game or not become really tedious and monotonous.

It might be bomb if they include all the original actors as voice actors, and insert their personality into it.

Hahaha, Luigi's mansion was a pretty neat game to play.

Wow, that's pretty weird. I literally just got done watching Ghostbusters and I come here to find this thread, lol. Too bad I don't have an X360.

they need better textures on the models. they're horribly blurry, except for that venkman cutscene.

I just looked this up on Wikipedia. That's interesting, I never knew he had an issue with his likeness being used for the Ghostbusters franchise. That sort of sucks considering Akroyd has wanted to make a 3rd for years.

I agree. It looks cool, though.

If they made it more like that more recent ghostbusters cartoon, I'd be excited. That was way more action packed.

The GB movies were all talk and little action. Not a very goo Videogame idea, you ask me.

Last I heard the company started making the game without permission to use the IP, so now they're directing people to their own new game, which probably wouldn't have gotten much otherwise. I think the whole "Ghostbusters" aspect was nothing more than a bait-n-switch.

You do realize that:

1-It was leaked footage of an early alpha build
2-Supposedly the developers have not found a publisher, which means they don't have a lot of funding.
3-We only saw one semi-intact mission. They probably plan to do a lot more than that. :rolleyes:
-There are easier things in life than finding a good woman, like nailing Jello to a tree, for instance

I think we have just solved the biggest problem with videogames sucking.

There should be pictures of naked women on the load screens. Every game ever would be a 10/10.

It looked fairly dull for mine too: but obviously that was early stuff. Could potentially be a giggle, particularly if you had teams of 4 bringing down the ghosts like in the films.

They could maybe add in some side games like driving the ecto or something. The atmosphere would have to be good along with having some interesting boss fights. Basically have it be maybe like a Gears of War + Resident Evil 4 kind of ordeal with some comedy thrown in.

in the interview that zootfly put out they said that if finished, it would definately have the ghost trap and such. they said they hadn't gotten writes for the ecto-2 yet (crystler) that's all for now
