I was watching a movie on T.V. the other night which I believe I have seen the sequel to and this was the original. I didn't catch the name, but it is about these giant archaic sand monsters that live underground and hear movement and start to kill people in old western towns. The humans run them into concrete walls and dynamite them and it was an awesome movie but I don't remember what it was called or the actors that were in it. If you know, thanks.

Likewise, but apparently alot of people liked the movie since it did spawn a few sequels (not to mention a TV show).

As far as I know, they went to the TV series after three Tremors movies. They seemed to get worse as they went along; making burt the main character was the saving grace for III.

I've always considered Tremors to be one of the worst ideas in modern history. That goes for the movies and the series. I'm tempted to believe that those of you who are stating that you like it, are either being sarcastic or just plain silly.

Tremors may have turned out pretty corny, but trust me it's not the worst movie idea in history. You should have seen some of Steven King's really really early stuff... I saw the movie late at night but I remembered it from when I was about six years old. I think it was a very entertaining movie, and usually nothing keeps me through the commercials like it did. Is Burt the long haired cowboy or the gun crazed maniac?

I was told there were four, but when I asked at the movie store, they just laughed at me. Now I'm not sure, all I know is that there's three and that's probably the third one you saw 'caus that's the one with the part where Burt gets eaten and they run the graboid into a wall and cut it open with the chainsaw. Great movie in a stupid way.

Then you got the point. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif] it was a spoof on all those campy 1950s movies that take place in little farm towns and involve monsters or aliens, etc. Got the scientist, the good looking guy, good looking girl, the dudes with the guns (That scene where the Tremor bursts into the basement is one of the best movie scenes ever). It's all there.

There were 4 movies
Tremors. First one, the worms are discoverd
Tremors 2: Aftershocks, Worms transform into two legged things
Tremors 3: Back to Perfection, Two legged things change into flying things
Tremors 4: The Legend Beings, prequel, shows baby ones, and takes place in the old west.

There was also a short lived TV series.
