Who likes paper?

I know a lot of you probably aren't big fans of paper, but this company is taking it to new levels:

http://www.primatechpaper.org

I think even the lamest among you would appreciate what they're trying to do.

I don't understand. I assume it's a Heroes reference, by the disclaimer at the bottom.

What's it counting down to?

If you've seen the latest episode, there was just something that caught my eye in there.

And the timer seems to be counting down to the next episode, EST.

It's the cover for whatever it is that Mr. Bennett does.

Very clever. I wouldn't have thought to look up the company after seeing the business card on the show.

TV shows are doing that a lot more these days. I don't remember if it was season 4 or 5 of 24, but in an episode they had a real phone number an a cell phone that appeared on screen. If you called, there was a recorded message thanking people for watching the show, and some people got to chat with the producers.

Prison Break had one too, the website is much more subtle. The whole Heroes disclaimer at the bottom makes this one so lame :P

I never actually watched the show, but I heard LOST had a lot of stuff like this.

I didn't notice the stuff at the bottom.

Of course, I didn't notice that the addy displayed in the show was www.primatechpaper.com not www.primatechpaper.org.

The .com is pretty boring.

'I Robot' had a really slick official promo website designed to look like an online store for the household robots in the movie. You could design your own robot, read about how the technology was invented and by whom, etc.
