Any of you Massassians use allergy nose spray? I can't decide wheter if I should use Flonase or Astelin for my allergies. Flonase works fine, but it isn't as effective as Astelin. Astelin leaves a nasty flavor when I drink water.

Btw, I am curious if anyone here has gotten allergy shots. I believe it's called Hyposensitization.

He probably has, considering that those are prescription nasal sprays. I don't believe they have or will be made over the counter.

If Astelin works better, you probably have a legitimate allergic reaction to something, considering that Astelin is also an antihistamine.

I've been using Flonase (rather, the generic facsimile) after I decided that Rhinocort wasn't very effective for (what I believe) is vasomotor rhinitis. I've tried quite a few over-the-counter and prescription oral antihistamines with no effect, so I doubt I have any allergies. Rhinocort worked so-so, but the main advantage is the lack of unpleasant taste and odor, and it doesn't burn like a mother****er if you accidentally use it more than once a day.

Why go to a fancy-schmancy expensive doctor when you can get a free consultation from Dr. Massassi?!

Dr. Massassi, he don't know much, but he'll gladly stick a finger up your wazoo.

Dude, I'm with you on this. The dude should see a doctor, not ask on a nerd forum.

Astelin tastes like crap. I use Nasonex right now.
