Howdy hi.

WE HAVE MADE EXECUTIVE DECISION. Deleting of threads is no longer an option. But you may close your own thread. But, you must provide a very good reason why you are closing your thread. If you close your thread just because you can't take the heat of people calling you out on something, that will earn you ban or no thread posting for a while. You may close your thread if there was another thread started of the same topic. Usually in the case of a big news event. Although I would strongly pay attention to see if another thread of same topic is posted.

When you post a thread to Massassi you are posting a topic open for discussion by the whole. The topic is shared by all. Deleting the thread stops discussion secretively. By closing the thread, you have to state why. And if you don't, be prepared for an explanation by an admin.

You may now begin to criticize.

This is awesome and will keep a certain person from deletings his threads whenever he gets called out on something.

Executive decision 14, is it?

Appreciate the effort but I've actually disabled it in the CP. You can try to delete your thread all you want and it will not happen.

Huh? That doesn't seem to relate to what he said.

His increase in senility and the decrease of his hair must be related somehow.
2007-01-30, 12:48 PM #7
You sure about that? Let me try... *deletes thread*

[Edit: Eek, it worked, I guess the new "restore thread from oblivion" setting works, though.]

Only admins have the ability to permanently destroy a thread. Every other deleted post is only "soft deleted", by which an admin sees your post and can undelete it very easily. :D

I looked at that and saw all-caps, name beginning with J and thought JK clan. But then I realised it was unlikely.
