Do you like flan?

I took a picture of a plate of flan I had for lunch in my campus cafe.

I like it. It's alright.

I'm guessing it depends on how its made. Flan is different depending on country? I remember eating one in Switzerland. Tasted pretty much the same.

You must have been bored...

Yeah, I like flan. First time I tried it was after I watched the movie Envy.

I like the flan they ate in ancient Rome. Due to the scarcity of sugar, it contained a lot of eels instead.

What is flan? What's it made out of?
2007-01-30, 2:32 PM #13
Custard or crème caramel, depending on what country you're in.

The one my wife buys is made of EGG.... so sick.

Buys the flan? Wouldn't it be better to make one instead?

I've never liked flan. While I don't particularly like the taste, it's definately more of a texture issue for me. I generally don't like custard.

I don't like flan. It makes my stomach feel funny.

As for the actual stuff, I love it. It's pretty good I think... It's been a while.

I'm not sure. The only flan I've ever had was in my high school Spanish class, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't made correctly. Or is flan supposed to taste like a slightly sweetened egg?

The flan that my mom makes is fantastic, but I have seldom had any good stuff from anywhere else. Oh, and I don't like it if I'm blindfolded.
