So I watched Top Gears premiere tonight.

Im just going to say:

BEST INTRO EVER

The humour is all still there, I love it :)

The crash however was terrifying to watch :/

It was pretty scary watching the video of the crash. Hammond kept saying things like 'Oh this might kill me!' and other incredibly eerie things. I love the way Top Gear deals with these sorts of things, Clarkson ripping Hammond mercilessly and ending with the promise that they'll never bring it up again. Classic.

At least they've stopped giving him crap about having his teeth whitened.

The crash stuff was interesting and amsuing, but the rest of the ep was a bit of a letdown. The Jag XKR looks so much like an Aston Martin if you squint it's rediculous.

Oh, and where was Top Gear Dog? :(

He was in the car with Hammond...

I loved it when Clarkson got out a copy of The Highway Code and started lecturing Hammond on how he should have handled it.

Im pretty sure that the man who designed the Aston also designed the XK which would explain the resemblance.

I didnt know how many runs Hammond had done in the Jet Car.... So each time they showed it i was trying to prepare for watching the car flip. That kind of car looks amazingly fun to drive, but things happen I guess :/

I also really liked how Hammond took the time to thank everyone, doctors, medics, and people who wrote in.

So what exactly happened to him injury wise?

Except thats not trolling. He was merely asking what this topic was about.

There was some damage inside his noggin according to the papers and his interview on Jonathan Ross.

And for the last time MB his name is David Brown, hence the DB[5,6,7,8,9,S etc]. And yes, he did indeed design the new jag and ripped off his own design. :P

Anyway, it looks nothing like a jag, and the back end is the bloody same as the DBS.
nope.

I looked into it today and apparently there's a waiting list of 322,000 people waiting to go on Top Gear. That's about 34 years to get through the list.
