Cus its the only TV show I regularly watch. :psyduck:

Anyway, for the spoilers Nathan Petrelli is Claire's real dad... interesting. So Peter is her uncle. And the invisible man fails for a 3rd episode to properly use his power to enter women's locker rooms.

Anyway, I miss Eden. She was quite hot. And this whole Nicky power.. its not a power, its a mental condition that turns her into a karate chopping badass... its just not a power. I mean what happens when Peter meets her? Does "Jessica" enter his subconscious as well, waiting to take over?

And I'd really like to know the Haitian guy's story sometime soon.

Is Ali Larter's character actually dead?

I have not watched the show in a while. If she's dead, I don't care to watch the show any further. I thought she was hot. If she's gone, I'm staying with 24.

No her character is not dead... nor can I understand why you might think that.

the best invisible man was the one where the guy had to work for the government because they had the anti-quicksilver solution to keep him from going crazy.

I think Nikki's power is actually just super strength, only that it doesn't really manifest (at least not yet) without the Jessica personality being in control.

This episode was pretty awesome. Hope the show doesn't turn into another Battlesoap Galactica - starting great and turning to, well, soap.

Good stuff. This week's highlight was probably Hiro's conversation with his dad about waffles. So random and hilarious.

I didn't. :( I thought it was going to be her dad now, Mr. Bennet. But I guess that would have been too easy.

I really don't understand all the attention this show gets. I've watched an episode or two. It's not all that interesting or well made. The acting is decent at best as far as tv goes. 24 is a lot better, and I don't even like 24 that much. At least 24 is well-made, even if it does seem like not alot gets done in each episode.

This show is just poorly made. The only good part of the show is the time-stopping guy. He's interesting, and at least the effects are pretty good in those sequences.

The fact of the matter is, most shows on network tv can't hold a candle to House M.D. All shows on network tv can't hold a candle to shows like Deadwood and The Shield.

The same thing happens with Lost. That show is friggin boring. Nothing ever really happens in that show at all. Here's a great spoiler for this season: They don't get off the island!!

Watch House, or The Shield, or 24, or Deadwood, or THe Sopranos, or The Wire, or Weeds. All good shows, and while some of them might not be on at the moment (or ever again) they still play re-runs that are much, much better than a lot of the crap being shown on network television.

Then again, I'm sure a lot of Heros fans can't wait for Survivor: Fiji, so I'm certain I'm wasting my breath.

I hate reality TV, I like Heroes because it's about people with superpowers and it's enjoyable. I don't give a crap if it's poorly made, as long as I care what happens next and i'm entertained I will keep watching.

I watch:
Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip
Heroes
24
House
Bones
Lost
Smallville
Grey's Anatomy
Scrubs
Numb3rs
and Family Guy.

Of those, the ones I look forward to the most are Studio 60, Heroes, 24 and House

Can't comment - I listen to more Radio Five than television. It must be a good show though :)

It's not the kind of show you can just pick up like 24 or House. It's an episodic masterpiece that gains momentum with each episode--the first few episodes I watched seemed pointless and dull. Then I watched one more and was hooked. You need, NEED to watch the first 4 episodes, after that I'm sure you'll want to watch the rest.

Maybe that's the definition of "poorly made", and honestly if it is I don't care, because I love it and it's an awesome show.

PS: Survivor sucks.

This pretty much sums it up. It's been obvious to me since 24's season started that Heroes was not nearly as good, but I continue to watch and enjoy Heroes nonetheless.

Okay, now that's just kind of eerie. These four shows, and no others, are the only shows I watch.

I don't know. Maybe it was just the fact that there are so damned many characters.

That, and I developed a huge personal vendetta against the show when I kept seeing "save the cheerleader, save the world" ads during Notre Dame football this fall.

I have to put this in the same area as people that get pissy when I say I don't really like the Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter movies. They say "READ THE BOOKS!!" Well, I think a movie should be able to exist without the books, and I think an episode of a television show shouldn't have to crutch so heavily on the previous episodes. The characters in the show should be interesting enough to hold my attention. Even though I didn't know any of the storyline of House at the start of season 2, I kept watching it week after week after the first episode under the pretense of "I wanna see what this ****in guy does next!" It managed to get my attention. Heros did not.

All I could think every time I saw one of those ads was, "Damn, that's really going to annoy people who haven't been watching the show."

After the first game that they showed them during, I thought "Man. That must be a good show."

When I saw them for the next several weeks, I thought "Man. I want to murder the people responsible for this."

Did you even read my post? It's not the same kind of show. It's episodic, and the storyline is not secondary as it is in House, and neither is it easy to catch up on as it is in 24. The storyline is all there is, and it's complex and twisted and extremely hard to get to know unless you start from the beginning.

If you're not willing to watch it from the beginning, then just don't comment--it's not the same type of show as House, so stop comparing the two.

The storyline in house is secondary. House is about an ******* of a doctor being an *******. The fact that he's addicted to the vike and there's some sort of love triangle with the black guy and the orderly is totally irrelevant.

House has a plot that lasts one episode, maybe two. Occasionally, there are some minor things that persist through more than a couple of episodes. Heroes was never intended to work this way. It had a season long arc from the very beginning, and it's been building to a climax ever since. Heck, we even know what the climax is going to be, generally, but that was used as a tool to make the audience want to see more.

Yes, the first several episodes were slow as they took the time to properly introduce all the characters. It was very important that they do this with the show because all of the characters are connected in some way or another later down the line. You have to know who all of the people are and what their back stories are to really get into the show. Oddly enough, the "I wanna see what this ****in guy does next!" pretense that you like so much about House is done far better in Heroes.

I only watch two tv shows and that's House and Heroes. (I used to watch America's Next Top Model, but I have work/class.:ninja:) While I love House to death, I have to say I'm much more excited about seeing a new episode of Heroes. It might be a bad comparrison, but Heroes is like Babylon 5 that you have to watch most the episodes to understand what's going on, the story is good, and that it's not fantastically made.

I only watch Heroes, and I think LOST starts tomorrow. The only reason I still watch LOST is because I've watched all of it so far, and I might as well see how they're going to keep it going. Doesn't hold the same appeal, though.

I wonder if Sylar just eats people's brains for their powers or if that thing on the back of his head in the last episode has something to do with it..

Well, I believe that in at least one of the killings, and the alternate future where Isaac died, the brains were removed. So he has to do something with them. His power is that he can see how things work... I'm not really sure how eating brains relates to that though.

What your doing here isnt like not reading those books. Its more like *just* watching The Two Towers, or *just* Prisoner of Azkaban. Decent movies on their own, but they wouldn't make much sense without seeing their predecessors.

It was just my guess as to what it was. You have a guy with brain powers, you make up something to stop them.

My assumption was that he locates the part responsible for the power using his own power, then adds that to his own brain somehow.
