if 1 Euro = 1.27 Dollars how many Euros is 1 dollar?

I did that first and put it my Java program but it didn't work...

When I run the program 320 Dollars gives me 406 Euros when it should give 251.9685 .(

Edit: Its a problem with my if statement not my maths.

No, your program is giving you the correct value. $320 is the same thing as 406 Euros. Just multiply the dollars by 1.27.

That's backwards. It's 1.27 dollars per euro.

320 Euros * $1.27/1 Euro = $406

Euro is worth more then the USD. I'll flip it around so it makes more sense.

$1 USD ~ $0.77 EURO ($0.77 EURO ~ $1 USD)
$1 EURO ~ $1.30 USD

Easiest way to remember the Brits and the EU are more then the American dollar (ie. $1.## USD for $1) and everywhere else is less then the American dollar ($0.## USD for $1) (This of course is subject to change).

In other words, $320 USD ~ $250 EURO.
