So, today I posted a job ad and had to edit a very old photo of mine for my CV because in it I had a busted lip. And of course, later today, I catch a knee in the face during training. The same very spot.

So, em, post the strange and ironic things that happened to you lately. :)

The other day, I was laying on the floor in my living room, my dog jumped down from the couch and landed on my man berries.

Same thing happened two days later, and in the same spot, and I made the same sound.

So we both got hit in different spots twice.

I got to lay in the snow for ten minutes cutting a piece of my car off with a hacksaw.

Busted lip? No problem. Your day was fine. Mine's the one that sucked.

I'm very sorry to be the person to inform you, but that's not ironic. That's coincidental.

Irony isn't even cool. Coincidence is where it's at.

It is ironic that this thread reply, which is only discussing the irony of this thread, is the first post to describe an actual ironic event in this "The Irony of Life" discussion.

Actually the situation could be considered ironic.

He edited a photo so that he could go ahead with the job ad without worrying about people being put off by his appearance. Only to have the exact same problem appear again. All he has to do is say to someone "Yeah, I edited the photo in my CV so people didn't think I had a busted lip".
