Ok Massassi the objective of this thread is to get myself and other drunk!

Basically what I want you to do is post your favourite Cocktails / Mixes that isn't your Bog Standard Screwdriver. Make it something a little interesting so people are likely to try it at some point to see what its like.

On your marks. Get set. Consume.

Siberian Mouthwash - Vodka + whatever 100 proof peppermind schnapps you can find. (There's a slight shudder that just went up my spine as I typed that...)

Whisky on the rocks. Simple and effective. Buuuut if you must have a mix, some girls mixed me up something called cougar juice the other night. It is vodka, with orange and pineapple juice. There may have been some Sprite in there too. Not the most masculine of drinks, but it goes down fast, and it'll get ya right drunk, that's for sure!

Vermouth+Vodka+Olive=Vodka Martini=Drunk
Triple Sec+Vodka+Lime Juice+cranberry juice=Cosmo=your girlfriend is drunk.
151+Bourbon+Rockstar+Fruit Punch=I'm not sure what but they're awesome.
Bourbon+sweet and sour mix=whiskey sour.
I can't begin to remember what's in a manhattan. I know it's bourbon, triple sec, and a bunch of other stuff.

There's a lot of mixed drinks. Apparantly Guinness with a shot of Jaeger tastes like Dr. Pepper. I've heard of a bunch.

I was trying to make some kind of collins at a party once, but the only soda they had was black cherry. It tasted like a Sweet Tart, as in the candy. It was absolutely amazing.

Handle of gin + lemons + limes + lemonade mix + Sprite = gin bucket. Tastes like lemonade (with a hint of Pine Sol)
Bazooka Joe - Bacardi Limon + Red Bull + Grenadine (tastes like bubblegum - too sweet for a full drink)
Vodka + Coke
Vodka + Pepsi
Vodka + Dr. Pepper
Vodka + Beer = :confused: + :( + :psyduck:
Rum + Cherry Pepsi

A proper Manhattan is bourbon and red vermouth with a dash of Angostura bitters. It's the Long Island Iced Tea that has a bunch of crazy stuff in it... I had to look that up. Usually vodka, gin, rum, tequila, triple sec, sour mix, and a bit of Coke.

Tequila and Coke is quite good. When I tell people this they usually say "That sounds awful," but I've never seen anyone try it and not like it.

SoCo and Sprite is like liquid candy. Girls will love this one. Likewise for the Neon Lizard, which is Midori and blue Curaçao with Sprite. You can add a shot of vodka to the Neon Lizard to make it a stronger drink.

For something that's just plain fun, can't go wrong with an Irish Car Bomb. Shot of half Baileys, half Jameson, drop into a glass of Guiness and chug before the Baileys curdles.

I can barely stand to drink beer anymore.

It doesn't really taste good. It's not really refreshing since alcohol dehydrates you. And... I don't know. It's usually just kind of nasty.

Liquor is where it's at. It tastes bad. It's got tons of booze in it. And it makes you feel real nice.

No way. The best way to drink whiskey is neat, usually with a splash of water. I don't add water to bourbon, however.

Considering what a huge cola fan (and huge vodka fan) I am, when I first started drinking the natural thing for me to try was vodka + cola. It tasted so bad I never drank it again.


As for suggestions, I've had "liquid cocaine" a couple times. It's jager + goldschlager + 151 (served as a shot)

Other than that, I'm pretty boring. Usually just coke + captain morgan white, or vodka + sprite.

Share a bottle of Southern Comfort with a friend. Make sure the bottle is gone in at least 20 minutes. Drink random shots of vodka until you feel completely satisfied with your drunkness. You'll be plently drunk and then never want alcohol again.

Tonight we had some Lime Vodka (Smirnoff) and we mixed it with Orange Juice. It was delicious. Last night we mixed it with Fresca (sprite rip off) and it was delicious. Also, Fresca and BIG APPLE vodka was delicious. Everything was delicious. yum


make a 1:1 (or even 2:1) sprite and vodka. taste it. it will taste like hairspray.

add several drops of concentrated lime juice. taste it. it will taste like delicious sprite.

Scotch I prefer neat, but bourbon (my drink of choice) I like better on the rocks.

More mixed drink fun:

Some of the frats at NU serve "crack juice" which is lemonade, beer and vodka in a proportion I'm not sure of. I've never really felt the need to try this. I think it's meant more as a convenient way to make a lot of strong mixed drink quickly (ala jungle juice) than it is for a great individual drinking experience.

Some friends of mine have set up a bar at their house. One of their specialties is a tequila sunrise. Tequila, orange juice, and grenadine. Once it settles, you'll have the red at the bottom of the glass and the yellow at the top, which is a very cool effect.

Their number one recipe is for a rum and coke. How is it possible that even one person in this world has ever needed a recipe for a rum and coke?

Killing a bottle of hard liquor really fast is not the brightest thing to do. You'll just get really progressively drunker over the course of the next several hours.

When I go to house parties or am just drinking and playing video games with a friend, I mostly just do shots. When I go to a bar I get rum and coke or whatever because it lasts longer, and it's more social.

Very, very true. When my friend and I want to get drunk fast what we usually do is too shots in rapid succession (one right after the other). Then wait 5-10 minutes, do another shot, then another within the next 20 minutes, etc as needed. You can get completely trashed in less than an hour, not use much alcohol, and not be hung over.

Fresca isn't a sprite ripoff, it's Fresca. Hater.

Also, Jungle Juice = Everclear, Vodka, and Gin + Juice of your choosing.. 100 proof at least on the everclear.

Oh and Gin and Juice is still my favorite mixie (other than Jack and Coke)--> 1 part gin, 2 parts juice (limeade and whatnot works best.)

Ah, how could I forget vodkamelon?

I went to a party last year where they had sliced up a watermelon and soaked the pieces in a tin full of vodka. I and a few of my friends started tossing pieces to each other and trying to catch them in our mouths. It was pretty awful, but I haven't ruled out future experimentation along these lines, possibly using pineapples or oranges or something else that would cut the alcohol better.

Everclear only comes in 151 and 190 proof. It's ALL 100+ proof.

It comes in 80 proof as well--> I've seen the bottles. I dunno why you'd want to buy it that low, but it does come that low.

Last year my roommates and I decided to "celebrate" the first weekend back at school after winter break by mixing up 3 cans of pink lemonade concentrate, a liter of sprite, a fifth of vodka, and 12 beers. Yeah, that was smart. [http://www.pyrouniverse.com/forum/images/smilies/puke.gif]
