That's just creepy.

But imperfections and blemishes on the skin should be considered when making close-copy models such as this. Perfect skin is an easy indication of CGI.

That's close to the quality you'd usually see on CgSociety. They've plenty of photo-realistic 3D models, people and tech. alike.

i think CM, JLee, and obi are pulling this stuff out of their backsides... or they have nothing better to do but stare at a 3dsm render of a girl for long periods of time

I noticed it right away -- the smile looks unnatural. Maybe because I see lots of 'real people' every day, I can pick up on it? Who knows. :P

the smile i can agree on... the hair at first glance can fool the eye but when looked at again it's easy to notice... evrything else takes some actual staring and examining to notice the problems... otherwise it looks like your usual touched up photo

maybe i should have rephrased my last post... if nobody mentioned it was a render to begin with... i bet you wouldn't have noticed these things as quickly

probably would have started with "she has an odd smile" or something along those lines

This is hilarious because I clicked on the thread thinking "What's it gonna be? A car? A computer?" and then it ACTUALLY TURNED OUT TO BE A PERSON

...then I read that the person isn't real
HAHA

(Oh, and the real actress is better-looking, haha)

What can I say? This is a very well-done render. The giveaway, for me, is her hair. That's not to say it's done poorly; it's still some of the best computer-generated hair I've seen.

While it doesn't look *completely* real, it could easily be a picture of a real person that has been airbrushed a bit and touched up in photoshop.

I can't help thinking that she looks vaguely like Jewel State though for some reason.

I don't see the resemblance..but maybe it's because I've watched the first three discs in the (4-disc) Firefly series in the last 2-3 days. :psyduck:

That somehow sounds wrong/borderlining offensive. >.>;;

Either way, very impressive render, as to seeing that it's zomg 3D, the clothing also has that CGI feel to it.
